Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations
Live Blues Show!
MVBS.org presents Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations, a band that stands out in the modern blues scene with its unique blend of styles. Frontman Dustin Arbuckle, known for his work with Moreland & Arbuckle, has been bringing fresh energy to the band since 2017. Influenced by traditional blues legends like Charley Patton, Howlin’ Wolf, and Little Walter, Arbuckle also draws from the eclectic sounds of The Band and Stax soul.
While rooted in old-school electric blues, The Damnations seamlessly integrate Americana, vintage rock, and soul into their sound, creating a distinctive and eclectic vibe. “We’re really trying to paint a big canvas,” says Arbuckle. The band’s style is truly Americana, combining multiple facets of American music to create something unique.
With two EPs, a studio album, and their latest release, “Live at The Shamrock Lounge” (2023), Dustin Arbuckle & The Damnations continue to evolve. Their live performances showcase their musical intuition and dynamic energy, promising even more exciting developments in the future.
This is an outdoor show in the beer garden, weather permitting, and lawn chairs are recommended. There is a tent if inclement weather occurs. Admission is free and we’ll see you at the show on July 14, from 2pm-5pm at Whiskey Stop in East Moline, Illinois.
