Tom Holland & the Shuffle Kings

MVBS.org presents Tom Holland, a celebrated blues guitarist from Chicago’s south side. Influenced by icons like Muddy Waters and his father’s vast record collection, he started playing guitar at 13 and, by 19, was performing professionally in Chicago. Mentored by John Primer, Tom honed his craft on the blues circuit, eventually joining forces with legends like Eddy “The Chief” Clearwater and James Cotton.

Leading his own band, The Shuffle Kings, Tom has been a stalwart in the blues community, earning a spot in the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame in 2013.
