Stranded in the City

MVBS.org presents Stranded in the City, a genre-blending powerhouse out of Kansas City, made up of brothers André Reyes, Jr. and Antonio Reyes, along with Timmy Keith, Matt Elton, and Densil (D.J.) Malabre. With deep musical roots spanning four generations, the Reyes brothers teamed up with rock guitarist Timmy and versatile bassist Matt to lay the foundation of the band’s sound. Densil brings a vibrant West African flair that helps complete their dynamic blend.

Their music is a groove-heavy fusion of R&B, funk, country, Tex-Mex, rock, and pop—always performed with heart, harmony, and high energy. Stranded in the City is known for rich vocals, tight musicianship, and improvisational fire that keeps crowds moving.

This is a free, outdoor show for all ages. Don’t forget your lawn chairs! There will be a 50/50 raffle so get there early for tickets. See you at Kaiserslautern Square Park in Davenport, Iowa on August 3, from 2pm-5pm for some great live blues!
