Mike Morgan & the Crawl

MVBS.org and Gypsy Highway present Mike Morgan and the Crawl on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Dallas-born guitarist Mike Morgan discovered his passion for blues after hearing Texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughan in 1985. Moving to Dallas in 1986, he formed The Crawl with vocalist Darrell Nulisch. After Nulisch’s departure, Kansas City bluesman Lee McBee joined, leading to a successful run with Blacktop Records and acclaimed albums like Raw & Ready and Full Moon Over Dallas.

Morgan took over as frontman in 2000, releasing Texas Man and Live in Dallas while maintaining his signature Texas blues sound. After stepping back from touring in 2007, he reignited his music career in 2018, joining The Texas Blues Guitar Summit with Anson Funderburgh and Shawn Pittman. Signed to M.C. Records, Morgan released a new album in 2022, proving his blues fire still burns bright.
