Hal Reed

Award-winning Blues artist Hal Reed is set to perform live at the historic Hauberg Estate in Rock Island. With a four-decade long career in Southern Gospel, Soul, and Blues music, Reed has headlined for several Gospel Festivals and toured as Men of Blues and Mississippi Journey. He is well-known to QC area Blues fans. Reed has made a substantial impact in keeping Blues music alive through his performances and educational programs. He has participated as a leader in the River Music Experience’s Winter Blues Schools program and organized BlueSkools sessions at the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival. In 2021, Reed was inducted into the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame. His performances not only entertain but also educate, taking students on a journey from the origin of the music to the Blues of today.
